A graduate of Appalachian State University, Michelle launched her career in banking at a local community bank in Morehead City, gaining invaluable experience in executive support and commercial lending. After going through an easy and enjoyable mortgage process herself, she knew she wanted to help others do the same, so she joined Robby Oakes Team in 2020.
Whether it's securing the best loan for a first-time buyer, structuring a mortgage for a vacation home, or guiding a seasoned homeowner through refinancing, she tailors solutions to fit each client's long-term financial goals. Michelle also shares our vision and passion for our community. She has served as a Director of the North Carolina Seafood Festival and as Vice Chair of the Carteret Community College Alumni Association. She was also a member of the After Hours Rotary Club of Morehead City, and participated in Leadership Carteret.
Currently Michelle enjoys cheering for her children at sporting events and supporting their local schools by volunteering. She spends her free time at the beach, on the boat, or in the garden with her husband, Justin.
